Three document traps, and what the preset does
A PDF that was edited
What goes wrongThe numbers read well, but the file was saved in an image editor rather than by the lab’s system.
What the preset doesThe file’s own record is read on every check, and the report says what it shows. That is a reason to ask the lab, not a finding of forgery.
file recordA label claim under its floor
What goes wrongVitamin D3 comes back at 92% of the label. A Class I nutrient needs at least 100%.
What the preset doesThe finding cites the floor and the number, before the TIC sees it.
LABEL_CLAIM_BELOW_FLOORA missing adulterant screen
What goes wrongA sports nutrition product arrives with a clean potency panel and no adulterant screen.
What the preset doesPick the category and the report lists it as a missing document.

The preset: Amazon Dietary Supplement TIC Readiness
- Coverage
- Identity, potency per ingredient, lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury, total aerobic count, yeast and mold, and a cGMP certificate.
- Adulterant screen
- Required for weight management, sports nutrition, sexual enhancement and joint health.
- 21 CFR 101.9(g)(4)
- Label claim: Class I at least 100%, Class II at least 80%. Over 150% is a warning.
- Lab
- In the registry, ISO/IEC 17025 valid on the report date, methods within scope.
- Currency
- COA no older than 365 days. cGMP certificate with at least 60 days left.
What it does not do
- Amazon publishes no numeric limits and accepts verification only through approved TICs. The defaults are editable, and “Ready for TIC review” is never a TIC’s result.
- The free check reads the COA and asks only for your serving. Label claims need your declared amounts, and the cGMP certificate its own upload, so those run in a workspace, and a free report can list the certificate as missing.
