Terms of Service
Draft, pending legal review before launch.
These terms are between you and the company operating COA Proof (“we”). They cover the COA Proof software (“the Service”). By creating a workspace you accept them.
What COA Proof is, and is not
COA Proof is software. It reads laboratory documents you give it and compares what they say with specifications you define or choose. It is not a laboratory. It does not test, certify or approve any product, lot, supplier or lab, and no result in the Service or on a public page is a laboratory certification.
Findings describe documents, not products. A document can be wrong or forged in ways software cannot see. A named person in your organization makes every release decision and remains responsible for it, for your specifications, and for your regulatory compliance. The Service is not legal or regulatory advice. COA Proof is not affiliated with Amazon, the FDA, USP or any testing, inspection or certification company.
Your account and your data
You are responsible for your users and for what they upload. You keep all rights to your documents and data, and you allow us to process them to run the Service. See the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend public pages that breach it.
Public batch pages
You choose what to publish. A page states what a COA says against your specification, at a stated level (“lab-confirmed” or “document-checked”). You must withdraw a page when it is no longer accurate. Pages are available only for dietary supplements, cosmetics and food ingredients.
Fees and billing
Prices are on the pricing page. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders, and handles customer service inquiries about payments and returns. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel in the app at any time; access runs to the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy.
Ending the service
When a subscription ends, public pages are archived and printed QR codes open a notice. We delete closed accounts’ documents and data 180 days later, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
Warranty and liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from a product, lot or release decision, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We will give reasonable notice of material changes. Questions: support@coaproof.ai.
